Wounaan Indian 2 White Parrot Tagua Carving-Panama 21042505L

This is another good example of a natural or white tagua carving. It clearly shows why tagua is call vegetable ivory or ivory nut. This is an old carving and just like ivory tagua turns slightly darker with age.

I have had this carving for perhaps 20 years. It is quite intricate in its details.
