Wounaan Embera Iguana Tagua Carving-Panama 15101011L

Here we have another neat example of an iguana tagua carving curled up on the nut. It is all one piece. The spines on the back are outstanding. At first I thought one was missing but the artist assured me it is right. Who am I to argue...? The other interesting point is the square on the bottom was made for the artist's signature. I guess he was out of ink.
