Gorgeous Wounaan Indian Gecko Tagua Nut Carving-Panama 20121164L

Two things make this an outstanding tagua carving. It’s age and how well it is polished. Its age has given the base a warm glow. I think he has been in my collection for about 30 years. And the carver took his time and polished it very well.

The postioning of the gecko is also super. He straddles the top of the tagua nut.
