Hand Carved & Decorated Wood Bowl W/ Lid-Africa 21021616mm

Folks, a couple of light years back I worked in Zambia so I probably bought this carved bowl there. I bought quite a few wood pieces on that trip and I'm surprised this one is still here. It is a beauty too, click for the larger images.

It obvious was turned on a lathe but that was only for starters. Then the hand carving begins and look at the people and animals and plants. Then take the top off and image how many bitcoins you can store in it.

It stands 9-10" tall and the bowl area has a 17" circumference.

What was I doing in Zambia? . Had to do with the grain trade.
