Folks, here's a vintage mola that has seen a lot. It is what I call museum quality. Textile museums seem to like these oldie goldies.

This mola uses an old trick that the artists liked in the early days. They used a background material that added to the design and added colors. Here it is a floral design. Being from the South they look like puffs of Cotton to me.

It is a dandy but don't add it to your wedding dress...

It is all hand-stitching.
