Leather Necklace with Inlaid Stone-Ukraine 21011608mm

Folks, about 25 years ago I worked in Ukraine. I lived in Kiev and traveled all over the country. Today I am a missionary but in those days I was teaching commodity trading.

My Kiev office was near a hotel that had a coffee shop on every other floor. I met a Ukrainian couple in one of those coffee shops.  They made these necklaces. 

I invited them to sit with me and show me their wares. Nobody spoke the other's language but negotiating is more fun that way. They wanted dollars and I wanted something to sell when I got home. I still have a bag full of these memories. 

It measures 18" in length. Simply tie a knot in the leather to shorten it.
