Stone or Odsidian Bead Crucifixion Cross Necklace Jewelry-Peru 21021924mm

I met a peruvian couple in Panama who made their living as vendors along Via Espana, a main street in downtown Panama City. This necklace was among the many things I bought from them.

I believe the material is Obsidian glass or stone. Pero has a volcano or two so it makes sense. The necklace measures about 9" long. The clasp is a screw style.

What caught my attention was the figure of Jesus on the cross.
