Vintage Carved & Painted Japanese Wood Dolls Asia Japan 20051824mm

These dolls measure about 5.5" tall.

Folks, I picked these up at an Estate Sale. The seller said they were Occupied Japan era and her Dad was there. Maybe so but I will leave it to Antiques Roadshow to confirm.

They might be the original Bobble Head dolls. They move about and turn around. The seller threw in a broken one so I will throw it in too.

I did not clean them up because I heard it is a no-no to knock the patina off. Whatever that is... sounds like something on a menu.

It should be clear I don't know any more so I will click "sell" and go take a nap.
