Folks, listen up. This mola is really old and has Machine-stitching. It was once part of a blouse. That tells me the 1960's thru the 1970's. Why? Because back then some well meaning Peace Corps volunteers introduced sewing machines to the Kunas in hopes that it would help them. Yes, they learned how to sew but collectors prefer hand-stitching. So back to the needle most artist went.

This mola is suited for the collector interested in the culture of the Kunas. It is in pretty good shape but don't add it to your wedding dress...
