Vintage Wounaan Indian Dolphin Tagua Nut Carving-Panama 20121030L

This is an old carving, I’ve seen it pop up from time to time for perhaps 30 years. It helps to know we have boxes of these vintage carvings and inventory control is a little lax. So a critter pops up and sees the light about once a year.

Soriano Negria is the artist and the piece is signed. If dolphins are your thing, here’s a good one. Otherwise, it’s back to the box, back in the dark. You wouldn’t want that to happen, would you?
