This Wounaan Embera beaded necklace is a treasure to behold. It measures 20" long and 2" across the Harpy Eagle.

Folks, these beaded necklaces are something new in Panama. I first saw them about a year ago. I was immediately impressed with the amount of work that goes into making one. But what really caught my eye is the design requirement. The artist is a mathematician whether she knows it or not.
