Wounaan Embera Red-Eye Tree Frog Tagua Carving-Panama 16021110L

Folks, what we have here is a large Red-Eye Tree Frog. It is a two tagua nut carving. Now here's the interesting possibility. It can easily be made into a pendant. If you are into big jewelry let me know and I'll drill a hole and add a jump ring. The carving is 3" long and about 1.5" wide. It will lay flat.

I suppose it has been in our inventory for 20 years or more. And look at the condition...these carvings will be here after I am gone. No wonder tagua is called vegetable ivory.
