Wounaan Indian Frog Mushroom Tagua Carving-Panama 21042706L

Folks, this carving is signed by Yino C. The C. is for Cheucarama, one of the largest families in the Wounaan group. The base nut measures 2.5" x 2.5" across the bottom and the mushroom stands about 3.5" tall. The mushroom stem and cap were carved separately and attached to the base. Yivo decided to add an additional frog to the cap. The piece is nicely signed.

This is as nice a Mushroom carving that I have seen.

Every tagua carving is a one-of-a-kind treasure.
