Wounaan Indian Vintage Crab Tagua Nut Carving-Panama 20121137L

This is a lovely vintage tagua crab carving that has been dyed in a natural dye made from cocobolo wood chips. They boil the chips to make the dye. My bet is he is 25 years old. The carving is excellent and you won’t see another one like it becaue they don’t do tagua carvings like this anymore.
