Wounaan Indian Vintage Toucan Tagua Nut Carving-Panama 20120123L

This is really an outstanding carving. It was left white because it is so beautifully carved and polished. Even the feet are excellent. Plus the artist left just a touch of the outer covering on the head as evidence that this is tagua.

I have had this carving for perhaps 30 years.
