This Hoot Owl Mask is another example of the artist talent in Panama. It measures 6" from the beak to the back of the head and about 8" wide.

This rascal is thick with chunga dyed in a special mixture of cocobolo wood sawdust. That's how the basket weavers get the color brown for their chunga fiber. There are various shades.

These masks are woven by the same artists that make the famous Panama baskets.
