Wounaan Tagua Nut Monkey Carving-Panama 21031106L

This is a great example of why Tagua is referred to as vegetable ivory. This old carving is of a monkey carved to be free-standing.

It is highly polished and is vintage to some extent. I have had it for 25 years. The artist did a wonderful job with this tagua carving.
