Vintage Wounaan Indian Alligator Tagua Nut Carving-Panama 20121627L

It is probably a caiman since that is what we have in Panama but search engines are most likely programmed for alligators.

This is an excellent carving. It is a two-nut carving put together. Only the best tagua carvers can do this well. I have had this carving for perhaps 30 years.

Every tagua carving is a one-of-a-kind treasure.
