Folks, what we have here is a strange or unusal tagua carving. It is a leaf with two caterpillars carved on the top. This carving is more than 20 years old. When I came across it I smiled, remembering when I bought it. I remember it was done by one of the few women that carve tagua. Actually she was a young girl.
