These free standing iguana tagua carvings are great for your collection. But they have a second use that I think is great. Jewelry makers like to add them to their necklace creations. The tagua artists know this so they cut the legs and tail in a way that allows the carving to be added to a necklace. I have sold carvings like this and then found them on necklaces selling for nearly $200. I thought about going into jewelry making...but I'm too old.
