Wounaan Embera Poison Dart Frog Tagua Carving-Panama 16022717L

This is a super Poison Dart Frog tagua carving. The work on the leaves is as impressive as the frog itself. It is nicely signed too, by Irvin Amarin. Rana Dorada is golden frog in Spanish.

I suppose this fellow has been in our inventory for 20 years or more. And look at the condition...these carvings will be here after I am gone. No wonder tagua is called vegetable ivory.
