Wounaan Indian Hand Carved Tagua Nut Jungle Bird-Panama 20122856L

This is a rather special bird that lives in the darien Rainforest but its name eludes me at the minute. It has the crown or head-crest. Maybe some of you know the name. This is also a nicely polished tagua carving. I have probably had it for 25 years or more.

Every tagua carving is a one-of-a-kind treasure.
