This extraordinary hummingbird tagua carving was done by Siriano Negria. The Negria family has many wonderful tagua carvers in it. The skill is passed down to each youngster as he grows. I have known some 12 year-olds that could carve better than many adults. Kids also master the art of painting tagua quickly.
